Research on Door Designs

Before I started modelling any of the details in my house, I needed to research different designs for both exterior and interior doors so I could use them to create my own door design for my house model. The 3 images below are different front door designs I found. I really like the grey colour on the door as I think it will fit the beach house style really nicely. I also like the stripe style on the 3rd image and the glass on the 1st image which I think I might mix the two style to try and come up with my own design

The 5 images below are different examples i found of interior doors. I personally think that the colour in the 3rd image will go with the beach house theme the best and also really like the designs in images 1 and 2 the best so I maybe influenced by them in my final design.

I have also looked at different types of sliding exterior sliding doors. I will use a sliding door on the entrance to the balcony. The simple sliding door on in the 2nd image looks like it may fit the design of the my house model the best so I may do something similar to that but at the same time I personally prefer the folding door design as I think it looks a lot more unique and stylish.

Whilst I was looking up sliding doors, I quickly looked up doors folding door hinges to see how the hinges on the door actually worked.

Another style of door which I looked at was a curved door as some of the doors in the house plans are curved. I think I might take inspiration from the 1st and 5th images and give the curved doors an indented handle rather than a door knob. All the images of curved doors which I found always seemed to be flat and have no patterns on them so I may use that on my curved sliding door.

The 5 images below are images that I found of interior door handles. I think that images 1, 2 and 3 will be my biggest influences.

I also looked up some door handles for exterior doors and instantly found the design on the left which I think I will adapt as its a pretty unique style in my opinion.
