Modelling the Living Room Lamp

Here are the reference images i used to model the table lamp in the living room.
To model the base, I used a cylinder and inset the top and bottom faces the bridged them together.
The stands were made using lines that I tuned the end vertices into Bezier corners.
The main body was made from a sphere which I took the hemisphere up. Then I bevelled out the flat face inward and upwards.
The lamp shade was made from a cylinder that I scaled the top polygon inwards a small amount.
I didn't model any of the supports or bulb inside the shade as it wont ever be seen in the animation.
