Making the Main Propellers

The ceiling fans below are the style I used to make the propellers under the Flymo

To create the base, start with a cylinder and bevel outwards and then extrude and inset. After insetting, bevel that polygon inwards and then inset and extrude to create the middle part. After that, highlight polygons that are opposite each other and bridge them together and add a turbosmooth to get the result as seen in the image below.

To create part that holds the pin, inset a little bit then bevel out wards a little bit and then bevel inwards then out wards again. Then inset and extrude to create the pin. to create the screw head, bevel outwards and extrude down wards a little bit. the create the cross shape, add 2 lines going length and width ways and extrude the cross down wards and chamfer the corners.

Then to create the blade, simply start off with a box and then extrude the edges out and drag them down. Then to create the ceiling fans, simply start off with a box and add a line going vertical and drag out the end to create the point the chamfer then edges and to get the round part at the end of the ceiling fan, simply chamfer the corners. Also add the bolts (copy the bolts made on the pipes) to the fans to connect then to the blade.
