This is the image I used as reference when creating my coasters to go under the glasses
To create the coaster, create a box and chamfer the edges. Then create a new scene, and create a plane then copy that plane underneath it. Go back to the original plane and add 3 segments and drag the middle one down as seen in image 2. Use the connect tool to add 5 edges going across the plane as seen in image 3 and position them as seen in image 4 and add the turbosmooth modifier (use more lines if needed). After they have been positioned, highlight the 4 small square polygons and extrude them downwards as seen in image 4. Highlight all the polygons down the middle which haven't been extruded and then copy and detach them and add the shell modifier and place them as seen in image 5. Before doing the next step, make sure the renderer is in Scanline and not Corona (it wouldn't allow me to do this in Corona for some reason) then go to the render tab and change the "Global Super Sampler" to Hammersley. then go to "render to texture" which is found in the drop rendering drop down menu and go down to "Projection Mapping" and then the "Projection Options" should pop up and tick "Ray Miss Check" and change the colour to black as seen in image 6 and place the plane copy above the original plane as seen in image 6 as well. Then in the "Render To Texture" go down to add and select normal map then render it as baked texture then simply apply the texture onto the coaster where the stitching should go.
